Hi I’m Lien. I began my journey to become a cosmetologist in 2002 at Joji’s International Hair Academy in Vancouver. Shortly after, I became a stylist at Hennessey Salon & Spa Richmond Centre where I was given the opportunity to become a certified Redken Master Colorist. After moving back to Calgary I pursued salon ownership for a few years before taking a break from the industry. 

At B.U Salon & Spa I’ve found the perfect balance of artistic freedom through continuing education and leadership with an amazing team. As one of the original hairstylists at B.U Salon I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of a unique salon culture cultivated by kindness and diversity. I love creating low maintenance dimensional color and doing long layered cuts.

Outside of hair I’m a boy mom and avid plant person. My home is my jungle oasis.
